Is it shaving or gardening? So hard to tell!

I think when Eve Ensler said that the vagina had the "innocence and freshness of a proper English garden," she didn't mean that the bush was there to be pruned. But the nice people at Schick seem to have a different idea. Because obviously, like our gardens and kitchens (and every other lady domain), the vagina needs to be spick and span, with no hair out of place. And maybe you could use the razor to trim the hedges, too!

I don't know exactly what you're getting at here, but just to be clear, pubic hair may do wonders for the reproductive organs when it's cold, but it doesn't make oral sex any easier or more pleasant than it already is...

I don't find this commercial offensive. They even say "whatever your style" and there's not a man in the whole thing. These women are shaving/trimming for themselves. I think the gadget itself looks pretty nifty too.

Well, "whatever your style" - as long as you're shaving with their gadget.

I am annoyed by commercals that promote an idea of beauty that includes pubic hair trimming.

But I can't decide if this is a cultural clash (my rejection of a predominant cultural beauty meme), or a feminist issue.
